homeschoolmom
Well, I spent the afternoon cleaning out our bookshelves... No small task. HS_Dad and I are bibliophiles and packrats-- bad combination. Anyway, in my purging of books, I found an old book titled "Introduction to St. Thomas Aquinas" copywritten 1948 with Imprimitur (from Toronto!).... Now why a nice little Baptist family would be especially interested in St. Thomas Aquinas enough to have a tome of his works sitting on their shelves for all of these years leads me to come to one the following conclusions: 1. We collect WAY too many books 2. We were destined to be Catholic and God started our Catholic library early 3. Both 1 and 2 above Funny thing, though... I've seen it on our selves for years and never gave it any thought. Just sorta started to "know" it was there. If I weren't so tired, I'd tackle it. Not today, though... (still think I can receive a complete catolog of the publisher's titles for a quarter??)

PedroX
Oh, I think they'd probably send you the catalog for free, you know a listing of what books are available? peace...
theculturewarrior
Here's a sad fact...over 90% (well over, IIRC) of all the titles ever printed is out of print, rare, and even no longer circulating. The publisher is probably no longer around, or is publishing risque comic books or something.

homeschoolmom
I used to have one of those... I could never read it though. Same reason I can't yet read the deuterocanonicals-- added Scripture... I know, it's not in the Catholic case. I just haven't done it yet. It's weird to see what one has on the bookshelf... especially when stuff if oddly juxtapossed.
