Moe with his demonstration on how to turn 1 gun into "5 guns in 1" LOL, the ending to the episode was great.

Revive the thread...OK
I would not say I don't believe in them... I do, I refuse to own one though. Up to now all I've heard are uneducated emotional reasons why people should own guns and while I am probably a hypocrite for liking swords (and I recently discovered I'm good at paint ball shooting... oh what a great sport) I think guns are wrong. They are meant to kill. Their original purpose was not to hunt or turn off your television set LOL but to take the life of another human being. When we use the argument that we need a gun because someone else may point a gun at you, it is the same stupid logic as supporting the death penalty (let's show killing is wrong by killing a killer). I have a new earned respect for the sports person but for security reasons... just look at Canada's gun policy and crime rate.

I rest my case

cathoholic,
You need to look a little deeper into the Church's stance on the Death Penalty. It's against it currently in most developed Countries because there are viable alternatives to it. The Death Penalty is an appropriate punishment when it is the best way to protect the innocent.

Using your logic, you would have no problem posting a sign in your front yard saying "The residents and property are NOT protected by any use of deadly force. No guns are owned or will be used to defend Life or Property." Would you post this sign in your yard? Why or why not?
