Who do you think is going to win the election and why?

Many people may not agree with Bush, but even the pro-Kerry people have to admit he is really indecisive. Not exactly the steadiest man for president.

I hope with all my heart and soul that Kerry does not win. The numbers, especially in light of the post-convention total lack of bounce, seem to favor Bush, but I would not be surprised if cheating is involved in Kerry's election campaign and that could be fatal.

Cheating on Kerry's part? I think we are being a bit harsh. I havn't accused Bush of cheating. But I am worried about that whole Flordia Mess (I think Gore did when but you know what? The point is without a point anymore).

I don't see the numbers favoring Bush right now. The pundits were all talking about (pre convention) about how they don't really matter anymore. People don't really care. I mean the Networks had more hours of Law And Order than DNC. And the Cable focused on the guy saying "H*ll" when the bollans didn't drop. Nobody was really expecting a post convention boost. And nomarly afterwards the boost is short lived, a week or two.

I am putting my money on Kerry winning. I am not happy with that. Nor am I happy with Bush winning. I don't like either of them. But how many people did you know who voted for Bush in 2000 and now are voting for Kerry or more often not voting at all? How many people do you know who voted for Gore who are now voting for Bush? I don't see it as a landslide but I do see Kerry winning. Not because he is better but because people want someone other than Bush.

Yeah, but he got 7 points on the Newsweek poll...heck, Goldwater got 17! And he got 0 on the Gallup Poll, which is likely a less biased source (I mean, they're the most trusted).

Plus, Bush has likeablility...something Kerry doesn't have, same as Gore...

Bush comes across as a stronger leader if not a better one, and that will become more and more important to the swing voters near the election, as it did in the 1984 race.

There were people yesterday on FoxNews talking about how Kerry would get New Hampshire...now...New Hampshire is a conservative state and it may do the same thing Tennessee did in 2000.

One of three things would get Bush the election:
1. The economy not only continues to improve, but experiences huge bull markets and job growth. People have to keep in mind that while job growth didn't go up as much as expected, the average salary did and so did consumer spending.
2. The capture of Osama bin Laden.
3. A terrorist attack (we don't want this, of course, but statistically speaking, it would likely get him the office for another four years). The terrorists do not want Bush in office, that much is obvious. America is not like Spain; if they pulled off an attack here that close to election, I think you would see Bush win by a very large margin because Americans aren't into appeasement, they're into results.

As for Kerry cheating...I think it's bad enough that the UN was called on to watch our election like we're some third world dictatorship. Now, I don't think they'll find corruption in the voting, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did a little of it themselves. As for Kerry specifically, we know that he is dishonest because of the contrast between his profession to be Catholic and his voting record. We know that he's a flip-flop. We know that he came back from Vietnam and stabbed many of his fellow veterans in the back.

I pray that God's will be done in this election and I pray that Mr. Kerry sees the light of the Gospel.

If my memory serves me, several major newspapers in Florida sponsored recounts of the ballots from the 2000 Presidential election, and even counting the questionable ballots that Gore wanted included, Bush still won.

I have no idea who will win the November Presidential election, but I hope and pray that Kerry loses.

Actually, international observers are pretty common in elections worldwide. It's not a cheating issue, rather it's there so people can see how other countries run their elections. Stopping cheating is just a side benefit.
What did the Supreme Court decide on during the Bush vs. Gore election?
They decided to stop the recount in Florida.

God Conquers

With the Kennedys backing him, who knows what will happen with Kerry regarding cheating at election time.
