Byron Nuclear (or if your last name is Bush, nuculear, lol) Power Station. I live just off the track that they carry the waste out on. Like a few hundard feet. Or at least they used to do it there. Twice a year. It explains many things like Why the grass is so green. Why so many people here hunt (the deer glow in the dark). And the annoying third eyeball of mine. Piccoli Fiori JMJ
Every year our Youth Ministry goes out that way for a Confoirmation retreat, but we aren't this year... That's pretty cool... The deer glow the the dark, eh? Hey, you were Shelly's PM "boyfriend" she told me you weren't far from us...
Iacobus
Can I guess? The NET Retreat at Bishop Lane? My parish ships off, I mean sends off with blessings, the teeny bopper Canidites every year. I didn't go, lol. I was a CCD drop out for 3 years. And when I came back I waited till the retreat was over. LOL! LOL! It is a joke some of us have. I mean in relatiy we don't like living this close. When in the mail you get "Emerngecy Planning for Byron in Case of Nuclear Indient." and a postcard saying "Your Idonine pills are aviable for pick up at teh Byron Fire Station. In case of a release of nuclear radiation you should take X number of pills ASAP." LOL! At least I don't like that. Yeh I am Shelly's PM "date" or whatever. Are you the one who made her get pulled over?
Sojourner
It's cold here in Indiana too. I am wearing my flannel pajamas tonight. Brrr. It's WRONG that it's so cold in August. It should be in the 90s or something, at least.
cmotherofpirl
We have not had a 90 degree day yet. I put all the flannel sheets and comforters back on the beds, they were only off for the month of July. That was our summer.
FutureSoror
The corn around here deffinetly wasn't knee high by the fourth of July. It was so rainy this spring that the farmers couldn't plant the fields 'til June. Oh, and ya know, I remember it getting cold like this last August too. I don't think it went into the 50's, though.
