Mortal Sin Question

I would like to know if any venial sin could be mortal? the whole "grave matter" thing seems to be so sunjective...i don't think that there has ever been an official declaration that the 10 commandments suffice...so is there a list of "grave matters"? It seems that if there are 3 conditions that need to be met for a sin to be mortal, there should be an additional 3 conditions met for a matter to be grave!!!

thanks for all the help you constantly give and all the blessings that come through it!

grave matter is the only thing that is not subjective in the definition of a mortal sin.

for something to be grave matter it must offend seriously against God's laws and commandments, the natural law, or revelation.

the Church is pretty clear what constitutes grave matter.

A venial sin (not grave matter) can be a mortal sin if the person thinks it is a mortal sin and chooses to committ it anyway.
