Theoketos
Nick, DUC IN ALTUM!
Mathew 7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread, 10 or a snake when he asks for a fish? 11 If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him.
If you think that Studying is God's will then you should throw your self into it with all your might and God will provide! YAHWEH JIRA! For Ave Maria I applied for the scholarship. and for Dallas God will provide me a way also, even if the simple answer is my parents helping me. (I also might join the reserves to help my parents help me) All I do is tith and remember that as mother Theresa once said to a good friend of mine "God has alot money." Guest JeffCR07
Hey, I have a follow up question to phatcatholic's list. I am looking to get a doctorate in theology, but I have yet to find a really good, really orthodox school. I'm trying really hard, but all of the doctorate programs that come up are at schools that arn't very loyal to the Holy Father and the living Magisterium. I'm thinking that I'll probably get my Masters at Steuby, but I'm having a really tough time finding a place to get the doctorate. Any help that people could give me would be awesome. Thanks a ton! - Your Brother In Christ, Jeff
Guest JeffCR07
PS, I've tried to find Scott Hahn's email before, but I'm at a loss. If anyone knows where I can email him, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
p0lar_bear
PS, I've tried to find Scott Hahn's email before, but I'm at a loss. If anyone knows where I can email him, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
You can't. He has an email address, but he doesn't give it out to the public. The St. Paul Center (founded by Dr. Hahn) might have an email address though. The message will be read by the people at the center and, if they think Dr. Hahn would want to respond personally, they will forward it to him. Regarding the doctorate, talk to your grad professors. The majority have doctorate and can give you advice as to where to go and who to take at a given university.
Theoketos
After my masters in theology I might get a doctorate in Philosophy, it seems that there are more good philosophy Doctoral programs (University of Dallas, Boston College, St Louis U...). Catholic U produces some good professors, I have met both good and bad theologians from that place, (from doctoral programs) Scott Hahn came from Marquette did he not? Also my favorite undergraduate professor also recieved his Doctorate from them. And the Angelicum and Gergorian in Rome are good places to study if it possible for you to go over seas. Any way the MA at University of Dallas is looking really good for me.

Theoketos
You all might also ask Fr. Benedict Roschel, by writting him a letter. He usually responds and he has his finger on the Pulse of Catholic Education. It is partly because of Him that I am UD
