VeraMaria
Already going through the process to join, and awaiting orders. It's reading "Catholicism and Fundamentalism" that is doing it to me. It's an amazing book.
I have to read that book one day... I just finished Hail Holy Queen and I'm reading parts of the "Catholic Answers Book of Mary", I'm hoping to prepare for a Protestant friend coming back from vacation (whew, even during vacation he sent a bunch of e-mails accusing me of Mary-worshipping) and also the Crusade. Reading books of conversion stories like "surprised by Truth" actually give me a lot of basis...it's a good way to learn apologetics.
phatcatholic
I'm just itching to debate fundamentalists. There aren't any left here at phatmass or at Flyfree to debate. Help. Brother Adam
his geocentrism aside, the most important thing is that he has become (as Dave alluded) a sedevacantist, which, as I'm pretty sure you already know - but I will explain anyways, lol - means that he believes the seat of Peter to be vacant, and that our Holy Father John Paul II is not the real pope.
This is not my understanding from what I have read, and I'm far from being an "ultra-traditionalist". So that no one, well known or not, gets unjustly accused on our forum, could I have a source please?
Guest JeffCR07
hmm, I believe the article was actually posted on phatmass a while ago. I will try to find it for you. edit: I sincerely hope you all are right and I simply have a bad memory as to who became a sedevacantist. Just so we are clear, I retract all previous statements until I can find the post of which I am thinking. - Your Brother In Christ, Jeff Edited August 10, 2004 by JeffCR07

Guest JeffCR07
Is that a credible source, and if so, do you think you could find it? I am having trouble locating the post on phatmass, I think it was a while ago and may have been deleted.

p0lar_bear
Mr. Sungenius is not a sedevacantist, but most of the Catholic apologetics world no longer considers him reputable. His attacks on the Holy Father are unexcusable.

Laudate_Dominum
I LOVE HAIL HOLY QUEEN!!!! What an awesome read! So inspiring!! I love how Scott Hahn loops everything together!
Anyone who likes Hahn's "Hail Holy Queen", would like "Mystical Rose", by Cardinal Newman. While reading "Hail, Holy Queen" I could quite easily perceive that Newman's book was largely Hahn's inspiration.
Lil Red
i'll put that on my list, thanks! but first i have to finish all the other books i have, but haven't started yet, like "Scripture Matters" "Dark Night of the Soul" "The Truth of Catholicism" etc.
