it's GOD's power saving us, and if we excercise the power of free will that is a power GIVEN TO US BY GOD to be open to His Grace we will increase in Holiness. He will not infringe upon our free will (because He empowers it and gives it to us so we can use it to choose Him), but He can nudge at a person's heart. Jesus didn't infringe upon Saul's free will on the road to Damascus, but He did convert Him there. [/quote]

White Knight

Sometimes, Acually in most cases, it takes prayer for you to combat athesism and previal against it with ease. Sometimes a Person is too full of themselves to believe, and there like a 10 foot thick steel door, hitting it will only dent it, its not very effective in the short run, but prayer, God can Smash that steel door open and they'd be all clear and open to ya.

In the debate vs pray situation, I'd suggest that you do both, if possible. While praying may open their hearts to God, you maybe the very thing God uses to open their hearts. If you are willing to pray, you should be willing to work too.

God bless,

Mikey
