Cure of Ars

The other day my mom brought out some older Catholic tapes that she had packed away somewhere. We used to listen to Dion all the time when I was a kid. So she pulled them out and was playing them. Brought back a lot of good memories. Anyone else ever listen to Dion back in the day?

Here is one of his songs;

I would pretend I knew what you were talking about to make you feel better, but I can't even do that...:unsure:

Would you care to elaborate? ^_^
Wanderer Comes Home, The - Dion & The Belmonts earned their place in the history books with songs like "The Wanderer", "Teenager in Love", "Abraham, Martin and John" and many others. In this extraordinary tape series,  Dion Dimucci takes you on a journey unlike anything you have ever heard. This musical legend begins by candidly recounting the many events in his young life as a typical Catholic kid growing up on the mean streets in the Bronx NY. These events would ultimately change his life forever, and set the stage for the next four decades. With a humility that has come from many years of prayer and reflection, Dion shares his journey through the highpoints and downfalls of his explosive and turbulent life and career. A journey that would take him from being "a rebel without a cause" to Protestantism, then ultimately discovering the fullness of Faith in the Catholic Church., (Dion Dimucci)
[Cure leaves Phatmass to join the circus and be a carnie] :sadder: :leave: :clown: :)

I remember Dion the soul singer. "Before I wake up...just before I put on my make-up, I say a little prayer for you..."
