UNFIT FOR COMMAND

The book "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry" is now number one at Amazon.com. It's number one and the book hasn't even been released yet. Democrats are being put on suicide watch. The TV ad is out featuring some of John Kerry's Vietnam comrades-in-arm telling us just why they don't think that The Poodle is fit to be the Commander in Chief of US armed forces.

So .. you can't wait for the book to come out? We have two ways to help you pass the time. First ... listen to the show today. We're going to interview Dr. Louis Letson, the doctor who treated Kerry for his first Purple Heart wound. Second, you can pass the time reading an actual chapter of the book. Just click hereto read a chapter entitled "The Purple Heart Hunter" from the book that has been acquired by Human Events. I read the chapter before I went on the air today. I am convinced that John Kerry lied to obtain at least one of his cherished Purple Hearts, and that his service in Vietnam showed more connivance and cowardice than it did valor.

The book will be interesting, no doubt. Even more interesting may be the tactics the Democrats use to discredit the Vietnam Vets who wrote it. This one could very well be bloody. Clinton had to subdue bimbo eruptions. Kerry has Vietnam Vet eruptions. People will pay more attention these vets than they did to Clinton's bimbos.

------------------------------------------

In Unfit for Command, you will learn:

How two of John Kerry's three Purple Hearts resulted from self-inflicted wounds – one of them so small it was treated with a standard bandaid

Proof that Kerry lied about his "rescue" of a Swift Boat crewman -- the act for which he received a Bronze Star -- which did not, as he falsely claimed, take place under fire

How Kerry spent much of his time in Vietnam filming himself in scenarios carefully designed to look dangerous

How Kerry turned the tragic death of a father and a small child in a Vietnamese fishing boat into an act of "heroism" by filing a false report

The gunner’s mate who sat behind and above Kerry for most of his Vietnam stay: why he came to regard Kerry as incompetent and dishonest

Why Swift Boat personnel, fed-up with his reckless behavior, asked Kerry to go home after he had served just four months in Vietnam

How John Kerry entered an abandoned Vietnamese village and slaughtered the domestic animals owned by the civilians and burned down their homes with his Zippo lighter

War hero? Yes -- to the Communists! Why Kerry’s photo was found in the "Heroes of the Vietnamese Resistance" section of a war museum in Communist Vietnam
And much more!

Is this supposed to be true to any extent? It seems like anti-Democratic media is kicking up. While I'm not democrat, I know when I see people jumping on an oppertunity to exagerate and make up lies about people. Anyways, does the book provide proof?

God bless,

Mikey

well it appears to be eye-witness testimony from those who served with him.

remember John Edwards advice: spread three minutes with this guy to know what kind of man John Kerry is ;)

If it was written by the guys he was in Vietman with, why shouldn't we believe them? Most vietman vets I kow take honor seriously.

Yes it's true... 90% of the people that knew him in vietnam are backing it.

Check out the site.

I'm listening to the Doctor on the radio that worked at the hospital that saw Kerry. (Dr. Louis Letson)

They laughed at him.

One of his injuries was a piece of metal in his skin, about the size of a matchstick, self inflicted according to the very men that worked with him. He got a purple heart for that. He should not have gotten a purple heart for that, he degraded the value of the purple heart that day. He was originally refused to get the purple heart comindation, but about two months later, from a whole other section of the world, it was signed by someone to give it to him. There was no enemy engagement like kerry claimed.

It's not anti-democrat info... it's the truth. It's not a lie like the democrats are so fond of using.

There is no spin. Kerry was using the purple heart for his plans to run for pres. Nothing more. He used the military, he got in, and got out as quick as possible. He is a coward.

Kerry is a liar and extreme exaggerator.

People...

I can't believe how some people on this site do not do the homework.

Instead of questioning here and not looking for answers... ask yourself the question and think of a way to find your answers... find sources from both sides, study up, and make an educated decission about what makes more sense... weigh it with the character of kerry and all the other flip flops he has done... how his only goal is to tell people what they want to hear. The evidence is overwhelming.

That's what I did. Do your homework people.

And I'm sick of people who don't do the homework insinuate that I don't know what I'm talking about. I HAVE DONE THE HOMEWORK - DO NOT ARUGE UNLESS YOU HAVE TOO.
KERRY'S OUCHY PURPLE HEART

Every time somebody brings this up, they get accused of attacking The Poodle's patriotism, but somebody's gotta do it, so here we go.  While John Kerry has released some of his military records,  he has yet to account for exactly how he received his injuries that led to his three Purple Hearts.  This is important, of course, because 1.) Kerry has made his military service in Vietnam a campaign issue and 2.) the rule at the time was three Purple Hearts got you sent home from Vietnam.  So was The Poodle working the system?  It sure looks like it with every passing day.

The latest comes to us from the doctor that treated one of Kerry's 'Purple Heart' injuries.  Louis Letson, now a retired doctor in Alabama says he has a very clear memory of an incident that occurred while he was a Medical Officer in Vietnam.  Letson says he remembered Kerry because "some of his crewmen related that Lt. Kerry had told them that he would be the next JFK from Massachusetts."  Sure sounds like The Poodle was plotting and scheming for his political career from the start.  Anyway, about the injury.

The good doctor tells us that some of Kerry's crew confided that they had not received any fire on their boat, but rather Kerry's injury may have been self-inflicted and come from The Poodle firing a military round at some rocks on shore, at close range.  The injury was a small piece of shrapnel stuck in Kerry's arm.  Did it require stitches?  Nope.  So just what was the treatment for this battlefield injury for which The Poodle was awarded one of his Purple Hearts?  A band-aid.  The wound was covered with a band-aid.

What was the experience of some other commanders in Vietnam?  You're unlikely to hear this from the Bush-bashers in the media, and the Kerry campaign cries foul when anyone brings it up.  But it's a legitimate question, and one that The Poodle has yet to answer.
Have you seen the new commercial his shipmates put out? I don't think there is any good way for John to respond to it without attacking them personally.

[EDIT]: There's always MoveOn.org and its many aliases to do dirty work.
