Just another caveat...I don't like the idea of dwelling on the candidates personal life. Especially not if it means digging up dirt on him. And I think that it is acceptable to fraternally correct others...as long as we take the "log out of our own eye" every once in a while. This makes me think about a few questions: 1) What's a Catholic? 2) What's a "good" Catholic? 3) If Catholics can reject the Church teaching on abortion, what teaching is safe from the "cafeteria" effect? 4a) What is the value of a religion whose moral/faith teachings are optional? 4b) If we had 6 billion Catholics, and none of them accepted the Church's moral/faith teachings, what would it matter?
