I'm just wondering....cuz I know I have a problem with my anger (but it has to do with other issues in my life) and I'm wondering what everyone else thinks!

Like I'm really horrible when I drive. People going to slow or talking on their cell, or running red lights just bug the carp outta me. I end up swearing at them or something else and then I just get tense and even angrier, and then I feel bad.

But like I said, because of other issues in my life, I know there's a reason why I'm so angry. But it's getting better. My best friend told me that in high schoo, when I was angry, people were afraid to talk to me and would stay away. :( Thank God it's not like that now.

I answered that I'm slow to anger. For the most part, that's true. However, if I'm in a bad mood, then it doesn't take but a little bit to make me mad. And then, once the anger has reared its ugly head, it seems to take forever to go back to where it came from -- like days or weeks!

If I'm mad at someone, then I really should start considering Jesus on the cross. What our sins and his executioners did is far worse than the irritations I experience any day! And yet He forgave them! Let's not forget Mary. She experienced the tragedy of watching her Son die at the hands of others, and yet she forgave them too.

May Our Lord and Our Lady lead me to the point where I can say I'm unflappable! And may I be open to their lead!

Dave, amen to that! Do you think that Jesus would judge you harshly because you try to control your anger, but for other reasons, you can't?

I hope not. But the question is, do I try hard enough? But of course, I can never try hard enough because I'll always fail. With God, however, I can be victorious. Yet, considering how I'm so often NOT victorious, it must mean that I don't take advantage of God's grace enough. As a result, I know I'll have to spend a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG time in purgatory just for anger (if I'm lucky to get to purgatory at all).

I don't like being angry, and beleive it or not, it takes a heck of a lot for me to get in the least bit "annoyed". I get annoyed and angry at "things" but not at people. When I say "things" I mean like abortion, death pentaly, the sinful world we live in.

And when that happens, I jsut turn into the feminists' worst nightmare, in that I'm not someone they want to try and dish out their proverbial crock of poopies too. B)

Not sure here, at times I can get angry quite very easily...

...while at other times, I rarely can.

Depends on the mood, but right now...I want to break stuff...
