MC Just
Hello, I am a pro-life Roman Catholic lay person. I was horrified by the “monitoring of sermons” thing you are enforcing on our churches. You all talk about “freedom this” and “freedom that,” yet you are trying to take our freedom of speech away? Jesus calls people like you “hypocrites.” Why are you anti-heterosexuals trying to keep us from raising our children the way our religion teaches us to? Stop imposing your immoral, trashy views on our churches! As a Roman Catholic, I know my church has a whole lot more history than this puny American “culture of death” that you liberals are trying to build. We have seen nations rise and fall because of the same things that are now sending America in a moral downward spiral. Our scriptures teach us that homosexuality is an abomination. Don’t forget about Sodom and Gomorrah. It is our job as Christians to warn the world of the things that will destroy nations and cultures. As religious people we have rights too; if you want to take our rights away, fine, go ahead; it’s heading that way anyway. Just don’t think we’re not going to protest, because we will. You don’t strong-arm and push the Church around. It is the church that sows peace and makes things better in the world, not some anti-religion, anti-morals government. We are against homosexuality and same-sex marriages, and we are against abortion and stem cell research; we will not stop preaching against it. Our attitudes toward these sins are founded within our religious beliefs and the moral law and divine law. Those are protected by the United States Constitution; we strongly advise you to start reading it and stop misinterpreting it. We are following the teachings of Christ and His apostles: we are following His command to “make disciples of all nations.” We have been changing and bettering the world for 2000 years -- that is, of course, until liberalism came around and started converting the world to immorality and chaos. We will not change our views or our Church’s teachings on homosexuality or abortion. So get over it. You will not rid the country of Christianity.
i totally agree with you on that one
Guest JeffCR07
I feel a persecution upon us. It's time to separate the wheat from the chaff. The wheat will be strengthened into durum and the chaff will fall into the furnace.
I agree, but I also feel a strengthening in the devotion of the laity and a great bolstering in adherence to orthodoxy! Take heart, and hope in the Jesus! Despair is of the Devil. - Your Brother In Christ, Jeff

BeenaBobba
I've heard about that. Let them moniter our churches! We already know that they won't be able to stop us. We already know the victory is ours in the end. They'll have to throw me in jail before I water down my beliefs! God bless, Jen
