What Makes A Mass Invalid?

Just wondering.

I've heard that there are three things that if a priest doesn't say during Mass, it's invalid. What are the three things?

I don't know if there are three things definitively, but I do know that the improper words of the actual consecration will invalidate the Mass. (replacing "This is My Body" with other words) Also, using the wrong type of bread and wine (grape juice, for instance). I cannot think of anything else off the top of my head at the moment.

Hope that helps...

God Bless

Lil Red,

Also, if the priest does not receive communion under both species, then the Mass is invalid.
