Funny... How can the Catholic Church be wrong when it was the Catholic Church that was there.

Prove it:

1.. Prove the the Catholic Church teaching is wrong with the Bible, by posting links to the parts of the Catechism and quoting verses in the bible...here is the link to the Catechism

http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/entiretoc1.htm

2.. For you to find writings from the First Christians, before 500 AD to show that the Catholic Church was not the Church that Christ built.

These are the writings:

You keep saying it's wrong, but you haven't been able to prove anything except that your personal beliefs about Scripture are different than what the Church teaches... if your beliefs where true, why would you have to attack the Catholic Church?

You accept the differences of all the other thousands of protestant beliefs, but not the Catholic beliefs? That just doesn't make sense. If you accept any other prot beliefs as a possibility of being right, then you must accept that the Catholic Church could be right.

How can the whole protestant world be truthful when Christ said the Church would be guided in all truth, the teachings of each protestant church contradict one another... Truth cannot contradict truth. There is only one faith, not two.

So, if you are so wise to the bible and where there when it was written or have studied the 19,000 pages of writings from the Christians that were around spreading the Word of God before the NT came to be... then please, save us from the Catholic Church if it's wrong, show us how it's wrong.

And I ask that you stick to ONE topic/point at a time, and stay on the topic until everything is answered and you provide proof.

Please note the above.

You have lied about our faith.

You say that we believe that works get us to Heaven.

We have repeatedly corrected you and showed you links to proof that you are wrong about the Catholic Church teachings on salvation and justification - Using Scripture, ECF, and council writings.

You've been corrected, but you persist on spreading the lie about our Faith.... Therefore you are guilty of lying.

Please see the above again and show us that we are wrong and blind.
The weak and the ignorant - you mean....those who don't care about Christ because of Rome's apostate doctrines that do not preach the true Gospel? On the contrary, those who love Christ will give Rome a wide berth because by the Scriptures they shall know her apostasy when they see it.
YOu know whenever I read your post ICTHUS...I just get this cold chill from what you post...It's almost scary.

And It really bothers me that you have made a statement that basically says that I, because I am a faithful orthodox Roman Catholic, have NO relationship with MY GOD...MY GOD!!!!!! I mean...Jesus loves us all, but he loves us individualy too! He knows me and my soul and my heart. And I love him more than I could love anything, anyone else. It really offends me, when you say things like this, that I don't KNOW Jesus, or that I don't have a relationship with him...I Love him so very much....and thats such an unfair statement by you....

I'll pray for you.....that you stop being so cold...and that maybe I'll eventually see the love of God in one of your posts!

Devotion does not equal salvation, pm3crd.

Muslims are very devoted to Allah. That doesn't mean that their false religion can save them.

Hindus are very devoted to Brahman. That doesn't mean a golden dude with four legs can save them.

You get the picture?
You get the picture?
yea, I get the picture?

you are so concerned about who is right and who is wrong that you have forgotten one very important detail along the way...JESUS, with him lies salvation...and I am with Jesus! I live for him..more than "devotion" my love for him...I GIVE MYSELF totaly to him...I worship him...I drink his blood and eat of his flesh! I know Jesus...and I know where salvation lies...

so, yea...I get the picture

You have almost become a very "wretched" individual, in your quest to "prove" somone wrong...Go with God (or go away...either one!)

All,

Notice the non-answer and attempt to change the subject by the anti-Catholic, which continues to spread lies about the Catholic Faith.

Many anti-Catholics are much like rabid dogs in cages when there are questions and statments that they are unable to produce a rebuttal to. Typically the hate for the Church is greater than the love of Christ's Truth. There are many different reasons why anti-Catholics hate the Church, yet there is not a single valid reason to reject the Church established by Christ - The Catholic Church.

Dude,

When I brought up the bible and why people believe it to circle (or was it mustbenothing?), around that time they stopped coming to the board.... it's a sad funny because he actually said the Church only had authority to give us the bible, when asked where they lost the authority and not being able to answer, he stopped posting.

Sit back, have a beer and enjoy the show.... NEW On FOX - When anti-Catholics attack!!! Watch the foaming at the mouth and insults fly! Tune in at 11:00.... lol

...in other words, the subject will keep changing... for there is no answer that he can give that will prove the Catholic Church wrong.

If he could, the challenge would have been done a couple years ago... I mean really... I've given the same challenge to preachers and people with "masters in divinity" and they have yet been able to do it.... It makes you wonder why someone who was once "Catholic" (if that's the case) isn't even trying the challenge - or maybe he is and failing before he posts it and still struggling for that straw.

I ask that all of the faithful and militant help keep the topic on track and simple - quote the first post, with "Take the Challenge..." (Or something like that) under the quote. It seems someone is all about one liners but when it comes to study and learning - they want no part in it.... that would explain why someone left the Church - if they were ever in it to begin with.

ironmonk

bump again...

One point... that's all I'm asking... Prove one point wrong, and I'll send my tithe and join whatever church you can show to be the One Church established by Christ.
