Raph and Cath are up in arms over who lives in the coolest state. Here's what I propose to settle the matter.

For everyone who believes their state is coolest...post pictures of the prettiest churches you can find in your state. That is the only way we can settle this matter. Then we'll have a poll.

Pictures forthcoming (to prove Texas is without a doubt the coolest state. :) )

Our Lady of Walsingham, Houston, Texas. The first time I've heard live vocal polyphony was here. Gorgeous.

btw im definitely taking pictures of my beautiful church sometime either this week or this weekend so that i can show you that it really is gorgeous. those pictures just do not show off the gardens outside or the beautiful marble inside. also the statues are kind of small but they are all so gorgeous. im telling you, this church is one of the prettiest ive seen in a long long time. (ive been there since birth though haha) and when i bring friends in, theyre like this is the kind of church you see on TV and im like HECK YEAH! haha

Ok, you have to give these Polish New Yorkers a little credit...

Not St. Charles. I mean St. Casimir's is the one that needs the credit. Sorry, there's only the outside picture.

our childrne's garden....

it is devoted to all the children of the parish who have lost their lives over the years.... and to the families and friends of these children.

the kids it was originally dedicated to have things in there that show their life.... like the fountain is frog and toad which the kid loved.

it is really a wonderful wonderful place. there is a huge statue of Mary when you come it that you see right away even though it is at the very back. and it has a prayer for all of those children that have been lost. we have May Crowning there every year. it's awesome.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmk ive tried posting this pic a thousand times now im looking for some sort of link to it....
