I agree! I should clarify my stand on Democrats. I am not against democrats, I have a problem with the democratic nominees and people representing them at the moment. But I am not against people just because they are demcratic.
I believe we agree on this one.

Oh I'm going to get slammed big time for this, but oh well.

So many times I've seen the Democratic Party slammed on PM, and as well they should be for their official stance on abortion. But, just like there are pro life Democrats....I give you:

I don't post this site to be antagonistic, but only to remind us all that we are Catholic first. There are bad Democrats, and there are bad Republicans.

Making broad generalizations about one party being better than the other is not good when it comes down to voting in line with Catholic teaching.

So, when you go to vote this year, and you consider voting the straight party ticket, you better make sure those Candidates all uphold the moral truth.
The Church states that walfare must help the poor, AND reduce dependancy.

Democrats fail at this.

Republican plans succeed. Democrats running for office against republicans LIE about republican plans.

END OF STORY.

God Bless,
No debate here please. All I will say is that this is one area when we will have agree to disagree.

And the Church is ok with that.

Peace,

I love you Az. If you weren't married (I assume you are from your avatar) and way older than me I wouldn't ask you to marry me. To ask would be to fall into lie with Phazzan. LOL!

Thanks for bring up this thread, both parties, and killing teh debaters.

Gotta Love Oberstar (Minnesota U.S. Rep. 8th district) One of the most boring speakers you have ever heard (Speaker at the 2003 HS Grad Cerimony at my school) but a right stand on life.

Couldn't find the Minnesotan pro life rep.

since this is bumped...

I found it interesting that the Roe v. Wade decision was handed down by a Supreme court that was picked primarily by Conservative Republicans under a GOP president if I'm not mistaken......

I have alot of sources, but I'm not big on debating politics, maybe I'll post 'em

Seeing both sides of the story,
