1337 k4th0l1x0r
Ask the guy if he's ready to buy an engagement ring, propose to her, marry her, and support a family. Ask the girl if she's ready to get married, wants to have kids, and is ready to become pregnant and carry a child around inside of her for 9 months. Ask both of them if they're ready to spend the rest of the their lives together and with no other. I think when a teen, or really anyone, sits down and considers those things, it becomes clear what the responsibilities associated with sex are. franciscanheart
Teen sex is wrong. Unless of course they are married which does happen quite a bit these days and I have an opinion on that too but ill save that for a rainy day. Sex is only okay in marriage. Sex, when exploited otherwise, is sinful and wrong. Sex is meant to be a bond between two people in, and only in, marriage. Sex unifies the couple and potentially creates new life. TOGETHER FOREVER these two raise their offspring, children, to be saints. Later tonight I will post more. I have gained a lot of wisdom from retreats that I have been on and I am willing and eager to share it with you. A big thing about sex and sexual activity, every time you mess around or have sex with someone, you take away from your future spouse. I know people who have gotten married and told their spouses what all they had done and after years and years of marriage, both are still trying to heal from that. No one wants their husband or wife to give themselves like that to other people that they do not intend on spending their life with. That is absolutely devastating. Sex is so deep. OOOOOOOOOmgoodness okay I have to go but I will definitely post later and with more detail and flow to what im saying. My mind is goin in a hundred different directions right now!!!! ilovechrist
I think when a teen, or really anyone, sits down and considers those things, it becomes clear what the responsibilities associated with sex are.
so true. point out to them the dangers that will come out of their encounter. they may think it's fine, and it may seem great at the time.... but down the road it's going to be something they probably didn't expect it to turn out to be, and they most likely won't enjoy it one bit, and wish that they hadn't. cathgirl
There's too much teen sex!! It effects every teen too! Since so many pple do it we tend to think of it as a "bad" thing instead of a sacred thing.
Thy Geekdom Come
Another important thought is that people generally take sex very personally. Men and women feel very upset if they find out that they weren't the only sexual partner. It gets on their minds. Save yourself for your future spouse. Otherwise, would you want your future spouse to have to live with the fact that your not a virgin? Would you want to live with the fact that your future spouse is not a virgin? Does anyone have the linkage to "Pure Love"?
cathgirl
Close your eyes and think about your future spouse, would you want that person to be having sex w/ someone else this very moment? Jason Evert writes really good books on this subject!
WCC_Catholic
my mother is a nurse and she told me that you can get cancer if you have too many sexual partners and if you are female and you have sex to young you can also get cancer and even if they get rid of the cancer you are steral. sad huh!!!!! White Knight
I see it as wrong, inless the Teenagers legally get married at the age of 18-19 years of age, then its right. but Teenage Sex is generally wrong. because like 85% of the time nowdays its outside of Pre-marriadal, inless both teenagers are Rich and can aford to get married and have Children at the age of 18, which is unlikely in todays time.
