They send people to ft. wayne every week, the same may be true fer grand rapids. If not, you might be able to visit them at windmoor (the name of their house at Notre Dame) or you might be able to talk them into sending someone up. (if you get 5-10 strong Catholics who are interested, they'll prolly come.) [/quote]
WHOA! Opus Dei at Notre Dame??? Go into my UND thread so we can talk more about this!!!!! :D

lol yeah on our way back home today (a four and a half hour drive) we saw at least 20 cars pulled over and ever more cops waiting over hills and underneath overpasses waiting to catch people. Its a good thing if it helps with the wrecks and stuff. Just funny to me, a comedian was talking about how when people see a cop on the interstate its like the interstate pace car because as soon as everyone sees him they slow down like 20mph then he exits its back to green. lol it's so true

 So anyone that really know me, unfortunately not to many ppl here, knows that i'm a total car FREAK, i've been driving for 5 yrs, and im only 19 so yes i was driving illegally for like 2 yrs. I was only caught once before i got my license and was only issued a warning. Since I have gotten like 10 tickets, some however don't count which i will explain in a minute. But first i have gotten 6 stunting tickets that have added up toa fair chunk of change. During high school it was always a "tradition" on the last day to burn out in front of the school, so every year i did so without any consequences, and the cars i burnt out with were not the cars i drove to school in so they couldn't identify me unless someone reported me. Then in gr 12 I wanted to leave with abang so I put on the slicks on the charger and gave it hardcore, biggest burnout EVER and i got caught $250 base plus $7.50 for every foot of rubber that i left, lets just say with over 50 ft it cost a pretty penny. I have also been caught catwalking $550, doing donuts, and just other stupid stuff i did as a teen. However my worst tickets were speeding and i was usually always doing at least 100mph when i get caught. However this is when the story gets interesting during Christmas I got really the very rare opportunity to drive a brand new 2004 dodge viper rt 10. So i'm on the highway after doinga few "test runs" I decide to really see what the car has, so i'm going down the highway 170mph give or take a little and i see the cherries come on, i thought about americas craziest car chases but my better judgement told me too pull over. Lady luck being on my side I only got a dagerous driving ticket. But the best part is that i have a family member with the exact! same name, and the cops accidently put my ticket on his record. So after sorting it out so he didn't have to pay this Huge fine, however in the mishap my profile was deleated and everything in it so right now I have a clean driving record that would have haunted me my whole life. However God has now convicted my of such rediculous crimes and i no longer speed or stunt in cars! God Bless and drive safe  oh ya never drink and drive or i fill find you!!!! or God will convict you of such crimes (Matt Osikas monthy rampage brought to you by ME!)

I tell my kids when I teach them to drive, it's the perfect opportunity to work on practicing Christianity. Think about being charitable, turning the other cheek, patience, obedience to authorities, etc.

Stop speeding and don't complain if you get caught. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten my share and I'm not usually slow. Once, driving accross the Alley in Florida, I had my bosses BMW. I was cruising at 135, and noticed other cars (some were junkers) that started to keep up with me, or pass me. Their cars and tires are not the same quality as I was driving, so I was encouraging them to risk their lives. I was partly liable on a moral basis if they had a blow out and hurt themselves or somebody else in another car. I slowed down to a safer (and more legal) speed. Driving fast or reckless makes it seem normal to others and 'okay' behavior. Not everybody has your skills, or car. You may be over-estimating your skills and car. You are endangering yourself, others around you, and re-inforcing the same behavior in others.
