Mickey's_Girl
I went to Mass at my own church today. For various reasons I've been attending mass either out of town or Sunday at 5pm at the Cathedral downtown (my church doesn't have Sunday evening mass). I knew I was eager to get back "home", but today I was so happy to be there! I love my priest! I love my parish! I love my church building! (I love my bishop! I love my Pope! But I digress...) If you love your own parish or priest or church, give a shout-out! MG

Andrea348
I don't go to my home parish anymore, because I fell in love with another in my area. It is 15 minutes away from my house where my home parish is less than 5, but I absolutely love going to this other church. They have 2 awesome priests, wonderful music, and the other people that go seem a lot more geniune. My campus minister often hears us complain about our home parishes a lot, and he always tells us that the priest and the music doesn't matter, it is all about Jesus in the Eucharist. I accept that, but if I am able to go somewhere where I am fed more, I will go to that place.

Sanvean
Since I travel so much for in the summer, it seems like I end up at a different parish every week. It's been a cool experience, but I can't wait to get back to my parish in the fall! It's a cathedral, but there's a great family-like atmosphere. It's so beautiful there.
