ICTHUS
Icthus! Dude! Totally cool! I'm totally into Courtship too! You're the only other guy I know who believes in it! You're right. And its probably a highly uncommon belief among Catholic men, at that. But I'm out to enlighten the 'hood to the wonders of Biblical courtship, ya know? A couple of the guys in my church want to start a 'Single Girls Christian Outreach Ministry', lol! In the youth group, guys out number the girls 3.5 to 1. Oh man. I am trying to contain my laughter at the moment. I read that when I was downing a mouthful of Crown Lager (good stuff) and I almost spewed my brew (if you pardon the pun) (yes, to all you folks, I drink, but I totally do not believe in getting drunk - the Bible says not to get drunk, not to not drink) And she can't be just a Christian girl. She has to be one who is totally committed to the faith. A girl who makes Christianity the center of her life. Amen!!..I wish I could find a girl like that. They are few and far between...there is one such woman in my life at the moment (she's Catholic to boot, and devoutly so), but she lives in Houston, TX, and I live in Cairns, Australia. A bit of a problem there... But enough about girls. This is depressing. Hey! Girls arent depressing!! They are our "other halves" and God ordered Creation so that it is a mans job to honour, protect, and "sanctify her with the washing of water of the Word" (Ephesians 5:21-23) . Marriage between man and woman is a type (I assume you have a knowledge of Biblical typology) of the relationship between Christ and His Bride, the Catholic Church. Genesis 2:22-23 NRSV "And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said "This at last is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman, for out of Man this one was taken." Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and they become one flesh.

Qamidalash
Me, I'm sortof a free spirit. no, I do not mean "hippie" or a person that does whatever is fun and feels good. Just... sorta wild... in a good free way. (Part of the weirdness) Lol; free spirit all right! Up for another 'tea party?' I personally find courting very romantic. You're seriously tyring to figure out if God want you and the other person to get married. It's like dating purely, and you ask the parents' permission and other good stuff! LOL this time I'll try to have crumpets... The way you explain courting -- maybe that's what it is I'm doing cause see thats sortof how I was viewing "dating" in my corner of the universe... Oh goodness, I believe I have just thoroughly confused myself!

Coor's Light is some good stuff. You drink wine too or no? Just remember, according to the book of Proverbs, HE THAT FINDETH A WIFE, FINDETH A GOOD THING! Can I get an 'Amen' from my bretheren in the House? Can I get a "Hallelujah"? Can I get a "Praise The Lord"?
