MC Just
If It keeps going the way it's going. Everyone will be naked, walking the streets and all.. This last sunday, my priest gave a homily saying, for us not to hold back on problems in society, he said we should use our God given gift of speech to protest and make changes in our culture! I loved his Homily!!! Edited September 9, 2003 by Mc-Just†

Good Friday
FYI, "bling bling" means money. It's not sexual. As for the shirt, I think it's totally outrageous. What's wrong with normal clothes?
Dave
FYI, "bling bling" means money. It's not sexual. I know what it means, but the fact it was on the butt creates a totally different connotation altogether.
Chastisement
I've seen some nasty shirts in my time, but what really riles me, is when I see 12 year old girls wearing clothes with the Play Boy bunny, do they have any idea what that means? I've also seen girls as young in boob tubes and tight pantaloons. There was also something that made me go up to a complete stranger on a train and say "now, that's really not appriopriate attire, put a sweater or jacket over that, there are children around. Her T shirt read "I f**k for Coke" and it wasn't censored. And I got ahold of last years abortion stats for NZ, I couldn't beleive when I saw that two 9 year olds, an 8 year old and eighteen 14 year olds were amongst the 17,000 abortions performed. Sex ed has no place being in schools for such an early age. I just can't wait for the second coming!

MC Just
"Bebe" clothing stores, sell thongs for 8 year old girls. Thats just wrong. We need to put a Christian crusade together. Edited September 9, 2003 by Mc-Just†
Thy Geekdom Come
Boycott JC Penny! It's unfortunate that this is the kind of stuff we have to live with in our society.
mulls
Yes... that is totally sexual. Thank the luther, calvin, knox, etc... for the degradation of morals. God Bless, ironmonk that's right. i heard luther did a porno with jenna jameson a few years ago. calvin is britney spears' wardrobe designer. knox writes lyrics for eminem, snoop dogg, and marilyn manson. they all support abortion and hate Jesus. Donna
Brigitta...did I spell that right? Thank you so much for your post. I just wrote JCPenny by e-mail, describing their shirt; and telling them I can by no means shop them any longer; that I will immediately forward this infor to my e-mail address list... and etc; It took about 7 minutes to do. And to find this out on Our Lady's Birthday! It is directly because SHE is MISSING from the Nations of the world that women and girls are seen thus, and pushed thus. (And, in that respect of the indifference at best sown toward Our Lady, well, it sure ain't the fervent Catholics responsible). Females see themselves thus, and push this. No one likes to say this, but it is really up to females, more than males, to promote purity and modesty in dress. Too bad if it's not fair, I'm not saying I always like it, but that is reality. Try the "Pius XI shirts and skirts" test; you will be treated differently by at least some - and maybe most- males that day. To the extent a girl guards herself, and especially when done for the love of Jesus, this is a crusade in itself. I'm so proud of you young women. Norseman82
A friend of mine, his daughter is 11, she has two friends - one 10 and one 12... both have had abortions.... kids are starting much younger now... with sex ed in schools so early, TV, kids are experimenting. God Bless, ironmonk Where are the parents? Don't parents care anymore? I take a look at the younger generation these days and if I said half the things I've heard some of them say I would have needed major dental work! (Maybe not literally, but you get the picture......)
Birgitta Noel
Brigitta...did I spell that right? Thank you so much for your post. I'm so proud of you young women. Hi Donna, Almost, bIrgitta You're welcome. I've seen lots of clothes that never would have made it out of my house, and many more that I just shake my head at these days, but it was the text on this shirt that made it more offensive than any particular style I've seen (except maybe for the girls in collars chained to Snoop Dog at the MTV music awards, but I digress)! Yes, do pass it along. And thank you, it's nice to still be thought of as a young woman, I'm 27, not old by any standard, but.... ironmonk
that's right mulls... it is their fault... they are spoken of in Acts 20:30. They told people all they need is the bible... now people actually use the bible to justify fornication, homosexuality, etc... and every other pervertion under the sun... they are their own popes... the protestant churches morals change over time... the Catholic Church morals are solid... Like the Rock they were built on. Just because you don't want something to be true, doesn't make it any less true. Get the facts. Norseman, It's horrible, the abortionists can come pick up your child without you knowing and give her an abortion, but if a teenager is baptized without their parent's permission, then the church can be sued... Another thing we can thank the protestant mentality for. God Bless, ironmonk
