CreepyCrawler
Hi, I was talking about Genesis at a prayer meeting w/ some people and I was confused about something: why would Adam be lonely in Eden if he walked with God? Why was Eve necessary to keep Adam company if pre-fall he was in complete communion with God? It doesn't make sense.
Pontifex
The scripture passage that you refer to, does not contradict the intimate relationship that we shared with God, but rather highlights the complementary natures of man and woman. Man was made for woman and vice versa. It is important to remember that Holy Scripture is the inspired Word of God, not the literal Word of God. Many Blessings, Fr.
