franciscanheart
you know you find lots of cool catholic guys on here, or seemingly cool catholic guys on here, but out there in the big world (away from the internet and social masks) its a lot harder than one would think. out there its seems like all guys care about is the 26" waist, big chest, and immodest clothing. Madonna
I think if guys made an effort not to gawk at scantily clad woman, and paid more attention to modest and less flirty women, they would raise the standard for us. I hate seeing women lower their standards for men. Same goes for us ladies too.

stagefairy
Has anyone read the book, Return to Modesty by Wendy Shalit? I read it a few weeks ago on the reccomendation of my Bishop. It isn't a religious book, but it has some very intersting thoughts and ideas. It's written by a jewish girl who was tired of people around her, especially in the college scene, asking her about her 'hang-ups'. Anyhow, it had a lot of good food for thought about modesty. MorphRC
What clothing do you think is immodest for men and women? And not only clothing, but the way they are wearing it. As a women, I think it's important to hear especially what men think is immodest. Us women could think something perfectly harmless, while the guys are going:
Anything that should be shown just to ur husband.
