God Conquers
Wow those things are ugly. The idea is great, but let's stay away from fabric made in 1992.
p0lar_bear
I have a lot of female friends, and honestly, I can't think of a single one who would be willing to go out in public wearing one of those...horribly ugly and not flattering in any way. Seems like they'd be really heavy too... Also...it would certainly kill swim times in competition...waaay to much loose fabric...
Madonna
I would never wear something like that. They look horribly constraining. I would wear a one piece with the long pant swim shorts over them. I think that is fairly modest.
daugher-of-Mary
I dunno...I've just given up swimming all together for the time being. Hearing guys in highschool talk about girls as "objects" convinced me more than ever of the necessity of modesty. What do PM guys think is modest swimming attire for girls? The problem does need to be addressed as the article said.

catholicguy
This is so typical. "That is ugly" (sin of vanity) "That is too embarassing" (sin of pride) or "That is too cumbersome" (sin of indifference). These are the typical responses received from men and women alike when considering modesty. Rather than objectively studying the situtation, the anti-modesty supporters make secondary attempts saying "That is modest enough" when it is simply a cop-out of real modesty. This kind of thing makes me sick and further illustrates why the culture is so bad today. If 'faithful' Catholics cannot even support modesty, how can we expect secular culture to support it? By the way, I commend daughter-of-Mary for her courageous actions to promote modesty. I have actually committed myself to the same task, and I am a male! God bless. I think they are referring to the specific designs in the links provided in the article.

jmjtina
wow, i admire them for making those swimsuits, but I have to agree that they need to be worked on. (alot) and aren't they just TOO expensive? I thought dishing out 30 bucks was expensive, but $89? It was a good read! It took me a long time but I found bathing suits that were like good muscle shirts (one piece) and wear them with shorts. when there is alot of guys at the pool or beach, I put on a sleeveless shirt. They gotta be sleeveless.
1337 k4th0l1x0r
I think their pricing strategy works like this: "Our swimsuits use 3 times as much cloth as a normal 1-piece, so we'll make it three times the cost!" I think these kind of swimsuits would draw too much attention and would not be good active swimwear. I really don't know for sure, as I'm a guy and I'll normally just wear swim trunks. I just say no to the speedo.
