homeschoolmom
cept I'm supposed to leave in 35 minutes... he'll nap for an hour if I let him... If I wake him, he'll be grumpy! This should be fun. Good thing our priest has a good sense of humor!!! I wonder if he's ever baptized a 10 month old and a five year old! He's only been a priest for two years. DancesforLove
I have a bit of an ignorant question....I was raised Methodist so I was never Baptised, and I still haven't been, but is there like an age restriction or something, like do you have to be a baby when your baptised? Brother Adam
I have a bit of an ignorant question....I was raised Methodist so I was never Baptised, and I still haven't been, but is there like an age restriction or something, like do you have to be a baby when your baptised?
No, you can be baptized at any age. The norm is that infants are baptized. Last Easter Vigil we had 7 adults who were baptized. If you are alive, you're fair game for baptism
DancesforLove
Ok thank you Bro Adam! I wasn't sure if I could or not, I am looking forward to getting Baptised, and my first Eucharist, and conconfirmation. I have already chosen a Saint
homeschoolmom
I'm surprised that you weren't baptized as a Methodist... I was.... Let me just say (tongue firmly planted in cheek)... It is best to be baptized before 10 months or after five and a half years... in between, it's well... not the solomn event that it might otherwise be!
