i loved the prequel movies ,so episode 1 had jar jar ,and episode two had the fireplace scene with some bad acting ,what was so bad about the 2 prequels so far? i loved them ,any true die hard star wars fan wouldnt care about a few bad scenes and love the movie for what it is .....Star Wars. im  a die hard star wars fan by the way. ;) ep 3 sounds awesome ,its going to be the last and the best ,i hope it goes out with a bang!!!
Ya, True Die Hard Fans can Love the Prequal Trilogy all they want, but that still doesn't change the fact that Most True Die-Hard and non-hardcore fans think the Classic Trilogy is better than the Prequal Trilogy. and its true. I love the Prequals, I do, but when it comes to comparing them to Episodes 4-6 (CT); they fall short.

Episode I was terrible but good in many areas, but doesn't claim the title ABSOLUTELY GOOD, Episode II, Bad Acting, Good, but not EXTREMELY OUTSTANDING.
I'm waiting for the 3 that will come after.
George Lucas said Episode III is the Last Star Wars Ever, and that if he did Episodes 7-9, it wouldn't be until hes old like in his 80's, But He said he most likely wouldn't do it, its like a 99% chance he wont do it. Also, since the entire Sagai s about Luke's Father, Anakin Skywalker, not Luke himself, what would be the point of 7-9? Anakin died at the end of ROTJ. I'm not trying to be Negative or anything, but its true. sorry to break it to ya like that.

also most of the post-return of the jedi books arent even written by Lucas, but by other authors who have been endorsed by lucas. So i doubt hed want to make something not of his own creation.

Star Wars was really cool, back when I was 12 years old. But when I was 14 and I found out that they were going to make movies of my favorite books, The Lord of the Rings, then Star Wars turned to poopy. The Star Wars books are what kept me interested, but LotR is way better than all of those.

Bottom line, SW is for kindergardeners.

Hey, brother, if it entertains you then God bless you. Watch it and enjoy it! I guess I expressed myself wrongly. Star Wars doesn't entertain me like it used to, that's all.

Yes ,I will agree to that ,they do fall short ,you are right White Knight. But ,Episode 1 was great ,it had the best lightsaber duel of all time ,and set the story for the events to come.So Jar Jar was bad ,so what .

And ,Episode 2 was great also ,so it had some bad acting scenes, so what ,it was still an awesome movie by my standards!!! :D

Well he said something, about also wanting to do something else after EpIII, something more Roman/Gladiator type movies. Then he also said, if he was still in good health or even alive, around his 80's he'd do 7-9.

But I dunno if the 7-9 thing going to go through or not.

I dont get how it will work because Carrie Fisher ,Mark Hammil ,and Harrison Ford are all way to old and frail.Maybe them being old now will add to their oldness that they are suppost to have in the storyline ,who knows.

I dunno, but if he does 7-9 hes contraditing his own stroyline, the story is about Anakin, not Luke. What would 7-9 be about Anakin, Lukes dad died in "Return of the Jedi."
