Noel's angel
Well, u could, but ud be wrong (in my opinion). U cannot say that Mrs Robinson, The Sound of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Waters etc. etc. are Not classics, of course they are
MorphRC
The Classics to me are older than 50-60 Years Old. So that would exclude anything in the 50's-80's
Noel's angel
Ok then, i think thats a bit odd, but each to their own i suppose. I think its good to recognise the talent of artists, even if u dont like their music, u have to admit, Paul Simon is a great songwriter. Does anyone like Buddy Holly? MorphRC
Yeah of course there are good artists that I dont like personally. I dont have a big care for the beatles of the beach boys, but there are a few catchy rythmes in their albums.
Noel's angel
Wow, im glad. I thought u were going to be one of those stubborn people who have their own little box of music that they like and wont give other artists any credit, but im glad ur not one of those people. What sort of music do u like?

gopherball33
BUDDY HOLLY WAS AWESOME. Peggy Sue is his best song I think. Don McLean's American Pie was a great tribute to Buddy.

Tony
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! If someone starts producing good music Ill listen to it, but ill stick with the old classics now, cause i dont want to listen to rubbish
T here is still some quality good music being produced.. but it gets very little radio air play these days... It is mostly ran by a few big corporate $$ companies who insist on making all of their stations sound alike, with very little selection. One hour or music isnt much different from the next. I have found some decent things to listen on 97X at www.woxy.com They used to be a regular radio station but they sold that, then some investers came and got it going again as a webcast only station Edited August 8, 2004 by Tony
