I cannot wait unitl I am a priest. All I have to say is that I will make SURE every single on of my parishners is on fire, i will have daily confession/adoration/mass and attend and foster the youth. Orthodoxy will be the platform and I will speak out on current issues from teh pulpit.
How so? If that's a stupid question, I apologize -- my mind doesn't work so well at night. :P
stupid is as stupid does :P j/k

This just hasn't been my "Catholic" experience. I have found Catholic folks to be the most onfire and loyal and defensive of their Christian Faith (at least to the best of their knowledge); the least manipulative and the most embracing of Christian mercy and love and sincerity. I was once of the other Christian persuasion for a little while, and these little things I noticed after leaving were some of the things I didn't see before which aided my homecomming. All my parishes have been onfire :)

Even the most on-fire parishes have a few bad apples in them. That's just the way it is. However, even a few bad apples may be a few more than a given evangelical Protestant church may have, thanks to the difference in atmosphere. Of course, as others have said previously in this thread, that doesn't mean all Catholic churches and all Protestant churches have the same type of atmosphere.
