Paladin D
Is going to Confession every week wrong? Even with venial sins? I don't want to bug my pastor if I do.
Paladin D
Also, it's not that I'm scrupulous, it's that I would like to be very clean while receiving the Blessed Sacrament. I don't just want to confess mortal, but venial too if I can.

BurkeFan
If by "wrong" you mean "good and healthy practice" then, sure!
Soldier4Him
I was gonna say the Pope goes every day.....but someone beat me to it....*glare* But think how holy HE is, and if he goes every day? WOW. We SHOULD be going once a week at least! You can never have TOO MUCH GRACE!

Colleen
Like everyone else has said, it's a very good thing to do. If you don't have mortal sins to confess, it's good to go anyway. My mom always says, "go for the grace" that you receive. Don't worry about bugging your priest. That's what he's there for.
RemnantRules
You must remember though, Work on your Mortal Sins, then once you conqure them then work on Veinel Sins and then work on your Imperfections b/c God tells us we must work to be Perfect. So if Confession helps you to do this then by all means go for it! There has only been one person who has recieved confession and walked away never to sin again, St. Mary Magdeline! Brother Adam
Confession rocks. I'm sure you can always come to our parish for confession...there are so few people that go. . . And to see someone young, is completely refreshing for the priests to see.
picchick
Being the sinner that I am, I try to go every week. Then my pastor told me to watch out for being scrupulous since that also is a sin. I still try to go every week but now only when my examination is total.
BeenaBobba
It depends. I suffer from really bad scrupulosity, so I've always been advised to go once a month or so. If your Confessor doesn't have a problem with you going every week, then you should by all means go. God bless, Jen

As a matter of fact, it can be part of a mental illness such as OCD (see here).
