Iacobus
I am not asking a "Will you vote for Bush" question. I am not asking if ou like Bush more than Kerry. What I am asking is are you happy with what Bush has done these past four years. I have heard a few people say things like "I don't like what Bush has done but I am voting for him on life issues" and so forth. So what I am asking is Bush really the guy you want from the GOP? M.SIGGA
I have heard a few people say things like "I don't like what Bush has done but I am voting for him on life issues" and so forth.
He is good for my parents' tax bracket, or whatever it is that gives them big breaks; but personally, no. I cringe when I see or hear him on TV. This quote is me My vote for Bush will be a 100% sacrifice for the hopeful end to pro-death/ infant massacre legislation.

ironmonk
For those that said no... He is way better than Clinton. For what most here have him to compare to (clinton) we should be happy. Everyone has their faults, but there is promise in Bush, he's on the right path... his beliefs are the closest we've had to a Catholic in our lifetime.
But that is not what I am asking. What I am asking is are you happy to have Bush. Not are you happier to have Bush over XYZ person. But are you pleased with what Bush has done. His reply to 9/11, the handling of the two wars, the start of the Iraq war, his actions on life issues (stem cell and so forth and DP as well as abortion), his "reform" of the schools and so forth. Yes, I am happy with President Bush's job performance and his reply to 9/11 and the war on terror, including the war in Iraq and Afganistan, the economy, abortion, stem cell research, etc. He has a down to earth style and says it like it is. Good man for a difficult time.
Aloysius
I love President Bush. His DP stance is not really a problem for me, and it need not be a problem for a faithful Catholic according to Cardinal Ratzinger right? He's done good pushing pro-life agendas even if they are still imperfect. I think that if I were president dealing with that same Iraq situ, I may have done the same thing Bush did. His reply to 9/11 was exactly what was needed, what was called for-- the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, the starting of an active WAR against terrorism at home and abroad. Yeah, of course we're not fully safe yet, it's not like it's easy to destroy terrorism, it'll be a long battle to do so. But we're safer, and Bush will not stop until America is 100% secure and safe. I happen to think Bush's economic plan will help America as well

picchick
I think that Bush has the personal strength to stand up and do things that other people would not do in the name of "forcing personal beliefs on others." He enough time for countries to cooperate before he started any wars. He is faithful to God and to his people. I did not see that he lied to anyone or went against his word so far. Hopefully, he won't. Plus he is getting the nation back on track for pro-life stuff. My vote is that I am glad to have Pres. Bush in office. Sojourner
I'm not a diehard D or anything, but Bush ... just doesn't light my fire. (Clinton didn't either, for the record. And neither does Kerry. I find I'm dismally underrepresented in politics in general.)
BeenaBobba
I'm somewhat satisfied with the job he's done, even though there are things he's done that I disagree with. God bless, Jen
the protector
Yes, Bush has been such a crusader in the pro-life movement. He has put forth hundreds of billions of dollars toward its cause. I mean, if there is one issue he has placed at the forefront of his term, it has been the termination of abortion. ...no. I will never be happy with a man whose administration is examining the use of nuclear weapons in conventional warfare.
