1337 k4th0l1x0r
I said yes, but that was only because I remember we had some really good snacks when I was in it.

Quietfire
1337? What does that mean? Nevermind. I realized it was a name. Peace. :punch: Edited July 23, 2004 by Quietfire
Mrs. Bro. Adam
Let me poise this question: For those of you who vote yes: Why should I remain in RCIA when I am not allowed to answer only from the text in front of me, and that text is of a lower level than where I am at? If I cannot help others during RCIA, and the material is not contributing to my growth as a Catholic, why should I remain in the program?
Mrs. Bro. Adam
1337? What does that mean? Peace.
If the question is directed to me, 1337=1337 k4th0l1x0r. I just shortened the name. Edited July 23, 2004 by Mrs. Bro. Adam

conservativecatholic
Mrs. Bro. Adam: Hi! I don't think I've ever spoken with you. It's nice meeting you. Anyway, I think you should stick with your class. Your classmates in RCIA truly need you and your great knowledge of the Church. May God Bless through His Mother's Immaculate Heart! -conservativecatholic
Fides_et_Ratio
Stay in and ask "deeper" questions about the text you're permitted to use.. even if you already know the answer. And then ask more questions. You'll be helping the others in the class a great deal, just with your knowledge and presence.
socalscout
Why would you leave? Are they teaching contrary to Church teachings or are they going over stuff you already know and you are bored? Would they allow you to receive the Sacraments if you do not follow the program? Stay in it. We made lasting friendships and it is great to know fellow Catholics outside relatives.
