Brother Adam
Teresa and I were able to meet with homeschoolmom and HS_dad and their three young children this evening. They are wonderful, beautiful people. I can tell HS_dad and I would get along great as we are both computer and theology book nuts. He has a history major so I know I could learn a lot from him. homeschoolmom and Teresa hit it right off too. I even had the courage to hold HS_baby (I'm skittish around young children). So we would like to thank Steve and Leslie for visiting us from the great state of MN. It was a pleasure to meet both of you and we can only pray to be in your company again in the future. Blessings, Mr. and Mrs. Brother Adam

the_rev
If they go green bay, I'd treat them! But I know they won't be!
theculturewarrior
I find it awkward holding other people's babies too. Maybe it's a guy thing.
Lil Red
well, maybe it is a guy thing. my husband is weird about holding his sister's baby (newborn to a couple of months old). he'd much rather play with them (as would I) as toddlers and older. Lounge Daddy
Yes – it was a good time… The BBQ was a success and HS Mom and Dad have been blessed with a great family My kids were pretty bummed when they learned that the HS family live outside Michigan – they played so great together and all... Brother Adam and HS Dad hit it off well, HS Mom Mrs. Bro Adam and my wife talked a lot – and I… well I manned the grill, the radio (spinning Catholic hip-hop), and took pics… I will post this later (I wasn’t napping… really) God bless you all.

Maybe because they turn adults into mumbling idiots (Gooochie Goochie goooooOOOooooo!!!). lol. I don't know. I'm an introvert. I'll blame it on that. Brother Adam
When I pick a baby up, I want to say "Hi, how are you? What's your name? How old are you? What's your major?" I helped raise three younger brothers growing up, but I don't have motherly instincts. I just need to learn to be comfortable around the little monsters again. <---- on the monster comment.
