It's a strange encouragement, in a way, to read some of their articles. I can immediately bring to mind the rebuttals to their arguments and facts to their lies and misdirection. It's kind of like winning at a video game.

What's also nice is how 'scriptural' they are, and yet they refuse to accept that the Canon of scripture was decided on by the Catholic Church. On what authority do they make the claim that Scripture is the inspired word of God? Because the only authority that holds is the Catholic Church's. Otherwise, scripture is nothing more than a neat idea.

James McCarthy, the head of RCFC, has put lots of blatant lies in his materials. For example, in a video he did, he showed footage of a chapel in Ecuador (?) where there was a statue of a crucified woman. He claimed it was Mary when in reality, it was St. Liberata, who just happened to be martyred by crucifixion. That error remained in the video even after someone called him on it.

The PM thing was not applied to you or amarkich personally but is an across the board rule for several Phatmass groups.

My understanding reading recent articles is that McCarthy apologized for the mistake and in his latest releases the portion has been edited. The whole video though (who's transcript you can read on www.goodnewsforcatholics.org) is full of misconceptions and lies. I strongly suggest "The Gospel According to McCarthy by Gary Mitchua

Anyone mind telling me why this is the case? Not to change the subject or anything but it does make it quite annoying when moderators still send PMs but we can't even read them.
