There's just about a section for everything, which has made Open Mic useless. And thus, I'm jumpin ship. I'm abandoning Open Mic to be destroyed by it's own uselessness. As I read the guidelines, I can't see how they were restricting anything other than threads which were more appropriate for PMs. These personal threads are more like rites of passage and PMer phan clubs. Most of the threads I started were buried a long time ago - doesn't mean I don't still come around. I'm just choosey about where I go. It ebbs and flows ... ebbs and flows. Don't like what you are reading? Then start a new topic. Its all good. Except when its not. So, play nice in our sandbox that is Open Mic. There are lots of spectacular people here ... personal threads are just another type of expression. Hi ... i'm Az ... And yes I know it can be done through a private message, but have you seen the number of people that post in the personal thread!! It would be nearly impossible to keep up with all of them. At some tables, people are talking about themselves. If there are those who would listen, let them speak and let them listen. Those who aren't interested can sit at a different table. But nobody should be deprived the oppourtunity to hear more about me. That just wouldn't be fair to all of the unfortunate people who don't know me yet.
