Colleen
I'm voting for George Bush. Kerry is a hypocrite, waffles on the issues, and does not respect the dignity of human life.

EcceNovaFacioOmni
Kerry is against every Catholic teaching on life issues. To vote for him would be a vote for abortion, same-sex marraige, morning-after pill for kids w/o parental notification, teenage abortions w/o parental notification, etc. And I'm not excited about an American president who votes against prohibiting the desecration of the American flag in the United States. dUSt
zwergel88 and shelly_freak, Are y'all Catholic? If so, you shouldn't vote for Kerry unless you're willing to put yourself in a serious state of sin for supporting abortion.
nikkan_hanil
While the Church does not tell us what guy to vote for, it tells us to do everything we can to stop these vile actions. In fact, in My Catholic Faith it says that's it's an obligation to vote.
1337 k4th0l1x0r
And it is a mortal sin to willingly vote for someone you know is supportive of abortion rights. The exception is in a lesser of evils situation, where it is acceptable to vote for the most pro-life candidate, i.e., it's okay to vote for someone who supports abortion only in medically necessary situations vs. someone who supports abortion on demand at any stage of pregnancy when there is no other candidate with a chance of winning. Either the Republican or Democratic economic policy is compatible with Catholic teaching. Abortion and Homosexuality are never compatible with Catholic teaching (except abortion in the double effect cases... don't think there's a double effect case for homosexuality).
