Brother Adam
Teresa will be going through the rite of acceptance today as a formality (I will not). Iceprincess (Katie and family), LoungeDaddy (Dan), and Abrady are the phatmassers that will be here for this event. Please keep us in your prayers today. cmotherofpirl
The Rite of Acceptance (and Welcome) The Rite of Acceptance ( and Welcome) is a liturgical rite, marking the beginning of the catechumenate proper, as the candidates express and the Church accepts their intention to respond to God's call to follow the way of Christ. This rite may be celebrated at any time of the year, and more than once during the liturgical year, as groups of candidates in the precatechumenate become ready to celebrate it. Brother Adam
This ironically pretty much marks the end for RCIA for both of us also. A testament to the current educational problems in the Church today.
