Are there others you've drawn???
Here's one more.... http://www.artpals.com/coloring_sacredheart.jpg That's all I have online right now as coloring pages. This sacred heart was a pattern for some banners the children made. I have more that goes with this, and I have a copy somewhere of all of the parts seperately, and you print and cut, and trace onto felt, and then cut out and arrange. I didn't make copies of the other art projects that I did. I will try and remember to do that from now on so I can share with you guys. Here is one I did that I should have made a copy of the black and white before coloring it. ladybug
The Golden Trumpets in the drawing...well we all know what golden trumpets stand for in the bible. Sunflower - symbol of christian perfection - A symbol of the Son and all that is bright and life-giving. A simple reflection of the Lord's beauty, purity and creative Hand. Always facing the Son, its roots grow deep and it stands tall. The Sonflower can stand against powerful winds and rains. When fully matured, it drops its head in worship and seeds fall to the ground. Symbol of the MaryGolds in this drawing: From mgardens.org In the Mary Garden we are quickened to reflection on Mary's glorious heavenly coming forth by the symbolism of the marigold - Mary's Gold - applied to many golden flowers in different countries and localities. There are legends that on the flight of the Holy Family into Egypt, marigolds were found in Mary's purse by robbers in place of gold coins; but the primary marigold symbolism (as with the ray-like "marigold windows" of cathedrals) is of Mary's radiantly golden heavenly glory. As we enter the Mary Garden the Mary Golds immediately turn our thoughts to heavenly Mary. The Woman of the Apocalypse, through its planting around an original focal sculpture of her as she came forth clothed with the sun, with child - with flowers rising up at her sides, recalling that "the earth helped" protect her from the dragon (Revelations 12:16). http://www.gardenscapedesigner.com/htm/medi.htm You are an enclosed garden, my sister, my bride, An enclosed garden, a fountain sealed. You are a park that puts forth pomegranates, with all choice fruits; Nard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, With all kinds of incense; Myrrh and aloes, With all the finest spices. You are a garden fountain, a well of water Flowing fresh from Lebanon Arise, north wind! Come, south wind! Blow upon my garden That its perfumes may spread abroad. ladybug
Me... www.subudesign.com. In serious needs of updates though.
Your website and art are incredible. Did you do that flash design yourself? What graphics program do you use? My website is so antiquated...and I have so much work there that I'm overwhelmed at the thought of revamping it. I have a bunch of art that I need to add, and then I need to move the art that's on my 'new art' page and put it in the folders. But of course, I only know how to do web design from scratch....so that slows me down in a major way. I have four commissions that I have to do before October, and I'm stressing out about finishing it all because I'm having artist's block. And two of them are not actually commissions but volunteer work for my community mom's club and the special olympics auction. I'm so tired. *sigh* THEN on top of that I'm supposed to give art lessons in August to the neighborhood kids. I wish I had not agreed to it right now. I need a break. YES! Please do! Pass it out, spread it around! That will make me so happy to know that my art is giving the kids some enjoyment.
