I don't know how many of you are cycling fans, but Lance Armstrong moved into second place overall in le Tour. He nearly won today's stage, but was content finishing second so he can conserve energy for tomorrow's second-and more grueling-Pyrenees stage. It's very much possible that he can be back in the yellow jersey after tomorrow as he gained around 4 minutes on the leader and is only 5'22" back. Plus, the current leader isn't much of a climber, so tomorrow's stage is sure to propel Lance to the front, barring any kind of accident or one of the other climbers beating him badly.

 GO LANCE GO!

My dad is OBSESSED with the tur de France. My whole family knows all the names and strategies, and my dad keeps checking how it's going (even here at work) and once we get home we all watch what's hapening, lol.

My dad does cycling himself and is such a fan...

So yeah. I'm following theTour de Frace closely, and I love the little introductions to the french towns and villages they have when they're showing the landscape

Vamos Lance

I think it's wow how sometimes a less-known cyclist is in the front (breaking the wind) and could easily win that day, but their job is to let Lance win, so he falls back and let's Lance take over, knowing he could have made it.

It's much more of a team sport than most people realize. If you have a good team with you, it can make all the difference. You count on your teammates to not only for drafting purposes, but to get you food and water and hold off attacks.

Yeah, I know, it's not a "every-man-for-himself" sport like everyone thinks. It requires a LOT of teamwork, and even more than teamwork, probably more sacrifice for your team than most other sports.

I read the daily updates. Yesterday I saw he was 22 seconds back and gasped. Than I saw he was going into the Alps and thought, Lance is a machine, he will WIN!

bumping for Lance's domination during the time trial today. He was over a minute ahead of the second place finisher and passed the guy who is currently overall in second place. Just to let you know, the other guy started 2 minutes before Lance.

yea that time trial today was incredible.....lance is a beast......my girlfriends dad actually knows and has met him because he works for the postal service

my fav lance commercial is the one where its like teh set of sportscenter and the lights flicker and go off.....one of the guys goes down to like the depths of the studio to a janitors closet and opens it up and lance is on a bike in there wiping off his head with a towel......the guy asks him if he is alright and he says yea and resumes pedaling and the lights flicker back on haha
