MorphRC
Also, having a child would mean giving up certain luxuries ... free time, certain career advancements, etc.
Id say thats more the reason for abortion than any other. Sojourner
Yeah, that's usually the last reason I've heard ... but I think it's really the main one. It just sounds so selfish to say it straight out, so people put it at the end of the list. The selfish, unloving act of abortion reveals the selfish, unloving nature of the sexual act which led to the pregnancy. We are willing to kill to indulge our lusts. 1337 k4th0l1x0r
Abortion denies a woman of her femininity. As society, we need to once again embrace and love pregnant women. I see pregnant women now as specimens of great beauty as they are expressing their most feminine state. I also look forward to expressing my ultimate masculinity someday as the father of a child and husband of a mother.

VeraMaria
'Feminists'? I mean come on. They're saying that pregnancy is a curse, such an inconvenience that to be equal to men they have to get rid of it, tat it's a weakness. Isn't that kinda saying that they're inferior, because they can get into that state that they have to get rid of (and men can't)in order to be equal to men? Isn't that a contradiction? If you followed my train of thought you should get a medal. I don't know if I made sense.
1337 k4th0l1x0r
I really want to go up to some of these pro-abortion pols and tell them that they look really good for blobs of tissue.
VeraMaria
LoL Jay. "As a former fetus I am aganinst abortion". I need a bumper sticker that says that. Recently I have been observing differences in the way pregnant women are treated here and in Uruguay. Over there everyone jumps up to help a pregnant woman, smiles, gets her a seat, opens a door, etc. Most people congratulate her, are hapy for her. Here (maybe because it's not that usual to see pregnant women) at least in Miami, where I live, I was kind of shocked at how rudely my pregnant aunt was treated when she visited (she's 23 and and she and my uncle are having their first child). There's a world of differece between people who see pregnancy as a precious gift, something to be overjoyed about, and people who see it as a burden to walk around. 1337 k4th0l1x0r
Kinda off topic, but I saw a pregnant woman (prolly 4 or 5 months pregnant) who was running the Peachtree Road Race (a 10k) on the fourth of July. That was really neat. I thought if those two could finish in a decent time, surely I could, carrying only myself (and supporting my big bro).
