7/13 - St. Henry

I don't have a picture of it (it's ugly - been through the wash a few times), but I carry an Agnus Dei around in my wallet, for what it's worth.

Also, up for grabs are two of my Miraculous Medals...

All I need is some addressage SENT VIA PM... I only have to, they are both blessed, they don't come on chains, one is from a local church and the other is from the Assoc. of the Miraculous Medal, at least I think that's what it's called...

So, yeah, if you need one, PM me and I'll see what I can do for you! Sound good? Yeah, I thought so!

I only have two and it will be 1st come 1st served... On your marks, get set, GO!

PS there is a picture of the two... this is only the front... I'll get the back in a second...

For Mothers day we finally got my mom a Miraculous Medal!

My Rosary, well as all of you probably do, i have a lot, but i really only look towards two.

The first one is one i got from New York when our youth group went to go see one of our good friends who is a Fransican become a Priest, Father Juniper to be more exact. Well we went to a church and i feel in love with this wooden-bead rosary! I love very simple wooden rosaries. And i had Fr. Juniper Bless it which was really cool!

My second was one that i have been wanting for a LONG time, ever since i saw a Fransican Friar with their simple wooden rosary i knew i had to have one like that. So i looked all around and i couldn't find one so i was trying to see how to make one. WELL, i couldn't find all the things to make the rosary. So one day i saw Matt, Remnant, wearing a wooden rosary that look liked one of the friars! I was freaking out asking him where he got it and he told me he got it on their lenten retreat so i had to pester him for a whole year to remember to get me one! lol, and when i saw it and when Angela, my youth director and Matt's wife, hand it to me it was so amazing! i didn't want to let it go.

Now i keep my first one in my truck so it keeps me pertected while i'm driving and my other i finally got a doo hicky that i can attach it to my belt w/o messing it up and so i wear it visibly where ever i go.

Sorry for the rambling but the rosary is one of my fav. things in the Catholic church and i love St. Dominic so that makes it that much more holy! lol

God Bless

I've never thought to photograph my stuff. I keep them in a very safe private place.

I know many of my fellow catholics use a lot of medals and things, but all I have is the rosary I got at my confirmation, and a sacred heart medal I found for 50 cents, a sacred heart candle I found for a buck, the cross and guardian angel pin my mother in law gave me, and an old wooden crucifix my husband found that says "Jerusalem" on the back. I wonder who owned that cross, and if they missed it...and I wish the person who lost it could know it was in very good hands now.

I wear my sacred heart under my shirt between my breasts so it's only between me and God. I've been catholic for 35 years and keep my few sacramentals very private. I want people to see my actions over the objects.

But I know some people are more external with those things. And that's okay.

Ladybug, that is very true about seeing your actions not your medals... I usually wear me medals under my shirt as well, along with my crucifix... but sometimes having it showing gives a witness, but it's not always seen as a good thing... I'd love to get a Rosary like that Jason... and what kind of doo-hicky is it that you have it attached to? I'm intrigued...

Well it's hard to describe, it's a leather strap that loops around your belt and snaps. It's suppose to be for your keys but i use it for my rosary! lol. it's so cool.
