tinytherese
We got a puppy over a year ago. My brother named her Patrice after some singer. The cats at my Grandma's house don't like her. They hiss, growl, and one tried to swat at her with his paw. The girl doesn't have claws and the boy only has them on his back paws. Neither of them get close enough to bite her. Patrice just wants to sniff and playfully chase them. Despite how they frighten her, she won't leave them alone. The cats often get put downstairs. We finally began training our dog last month. Her trainer suggested to have the two cats on one side of the room and Patrice a little ways from them where they three can see each other. Then give them a treat at the same time. Does anyone have other tips on how they can at least learn to leave each other alone?

MIKolbe
I guess we're lucky at our house! We have a Golden Retriever and 2 Ragdolls and 1 Nebelung. They love the dog. They will often come up and give him "head butts". He doesn't mind, but he will get up and lay somewhere else after a while. Sometimes 2 of the cats sit in his crate. He will NOT go in if they are in his crate, but will stand and look and then lay down outside the crate. The cats are unphased by this.
