It is being concerned “child abuse “ ( I guess due to the court ruling) This 10-year-old girl was denied an abortion in Ohio after the Supreme Court ruled last week that it was overturning Roe v. Wade, demonstrating the tangible impacts that the high court’s decision is having on patients seeking access to the medical procedure.

pardon my French :cuss: but what are the parents of this 10 y.o. doing and why aren’t they being charged with “child abuse” ?  Clearly this is a case of child neglect and endangerment

Did you read the article you posted?

This child is being treated by a doctor who specializes in child abuse.  Children usually don't see those doctors unless they're referred by law enforcement.  Rest assured, there will be charges pressed against someone.

Do you generally believe that the parents of children who are abused should be incarcerated (I'm thinking specifically of the parents of children who are/were sexually abused by clergy, but it could also include the parents of those who are assaulted by school employees, neighbors, or just plain strangers), or does your desire to incarcerate the parents of abuse victims only apply to those who rather inconveniently become pregnant?

Personally, I'm praying for this child and her family and await the day when the "pro-criminalization of abortion" crowd actually becomes "pro-life".

like her parents and definitely the assailant (father), if he is an adult

 Biden BS

The whole story may have been fabricated to gain sympathy ….   Ohio Attorney General said tonight the story is a hoax.

the Washington Post acknowledged what conservative critics had been saying for days: that the story, first reported July 1 by the Indianapolis Star, is highly dubious.

Furthermore: Biden said his administration is trying to do a “lot of things to accommodate the rights of women” after the ruling, including considering declaring a public health emergency to free up federal resources.

I live in Ohio and this was purely a smear campaign. Of course I am not saying anything here that anyone doesn't already know. I live near an abortion clinic, in the suburbs of a major city and it is always being protests by fellow Catholics and Protestants. While Ohio has seemed to avoid much of the Leftists radicalism abortion seems to be a real hot button issue here. Both Cinci and Columbus are major centers of Leftism.

When it comes to the media I am reminded of a quote my Michael Malice. I think it was him.

"The media is factual, but not truthful."

Mom of 10-year-old Ohio girl who got abortion defends child’s rapist

https://nypost.com/2022/07/15/mom-of-10-year-old-ohio-girl-who-got-abortion-defends-rapist/

“She’s my daughter,” the mom, who refused to give a name, confirmed to Telemundo of the girl who would have been just 9 when she was abused and impregnated.

“She’s fine. Everything that they’re saying against him is a lie,”

🤢

That's the problem with religious thinking... common sense goes out the window.  a pregnant ten year old is likely to die if they can't have an abortion, all because religious nuts think it's the most moral outcome.  I almost dont trust the sincerity of those thinking an abortion here is wrong.... I use to be religious, I know that I often would take positions I knew deep down were wrong, and I don't doubt that's common with catholics.

Actually in the state of Ohio there are exceptions for cases like this.  The child could had the abortion without leaving the state.

I beg to differ , No one in the prolife camp objects to the safety of this innocent child, if she was in anyway danger.

Nah.

Girls life not in immediate danger.

People that support "choice" in this case just want to be able to cover up the crimes of minor attracted people. Im sure thats why the mom took her to the doctor in the first place. To save her boyfriend from prison.

Bunch of creeps

Common with catholics?

Then by default you agree that many fully believe in the Truth of the Church... fully and sincerely.

Indiana became the first state to vote to restrict access to abortion since the Supreme Court handed down its decision in the Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health case. Several other states have already banned or restricted abortion with trigger law bans but the Indiana legislature is the first to pass new rulings since the overturn of Roe v Wade. It now goes to Governor Eric Holcomb. He has not indicated whether or not he will sign the bill into law.

Indiana’s abortion ban includes exceptions for rape, and incest, and protects the life and physical health of the mother. The exceptions are limited to 10 weeks post-fertilization for rape and incest. Victims cannot get an abortion after that. Victims are not required to sign a notarized affidavit confirming an attack.

lets go Indiana!

This is a very sad case.  From what I’ve read about it this child was only nine years old when the molestation occurred.   The child’s mother boyfriend admitted to the rape the child at least twice and since been arrested.

I’m sorry but abortion will not fix the problem, neither will arresting the rapist, unfortunately.

Isn’t it a shame that so many people these days cohabitate unmarried, or as my dear old father would say “are shacking up ”.

Observing and respecting the sacrament of marriage would go along way towards solving this atrocity
