Ozark Ending (spoilers!)

Has anybody watched this show and want to talk about the ending and how bad it was?

I watched all but the last show because I saw what a travesty they were headed to.    My wife watched it and I predicted almost all the pointless final plot events.
 

Essentially, the writers came up with convoluted events that concluded nothing.    What a waste of time.

I suppose the theme of the entire show could be summed up with "What is it to gain the world and lose your soul."

No redemptive qualities, but I guess this was the point. This is the world we are in though, so a great commentary on the state humanity?

There was no commentary.    You would have need a conclusion or notable change in the story to illustrate “something “.  
The show was like only reading Game of Thrones.  What’s the point of the story?
