basssoon
Summer is kind of a low point this year. I'm done with school till Aug 30 and Sister Frances, who I attend mass with, is away. Hoping to find some Catholic groups in my area I searched the internet and found Secular Oratory, and Theology on Tap. Since I am still a baby-Catholic-in-training, I want to make sure these groups "rep the church" and with Sister away I was hoping I could get advice from you guys. What do you think of these groups? Would they be good for a person not started in RCIA? Or are they above my level (which is low)? Could you suggest other groups to look out for? daugher-of-Mary
I'm pretty sure Theology on Tap would be good for you. I've heard great things about them, but being that I'm not quite old enough, I haven't been able to check them out first-hand.
Sojourner
I've never been to a Theology on Tap, but I hear they're pretty good. Never heard of the other group, though.
PedroX
Theology on tap usually reps the church. I can't speak for every group, but the one here is very good. peace...
BeenaBobba
I haven't got any Catholic friends around where I live, so PM is a huge support system for me. You'd do well to stay here and make friends. Orthodoxy and faithfulness to Pope John Paul II and the current Magisterium is the top priority here. God bless, Jen
phatcatholic
Theology on Tap --orthodox catholic teaching --good food --beer --catholic young adults could it really get any better than that?
