sombodythatudontknow
Hey I’m looking for some people who can give me an insight on what I can do. My birthday is April 13th and it’s holly Wednesday even though it not Easter or Friday I’m not sure if I can go clubbing with my friends. I can’t do it the week prior due to it being another friends birthday and her throwing a party on Saturday or the week after due to exams that I will have for the entire week and community service on the weekend. I know it seems like I’m Bering spoiled but I truly believe god could understand that I’m doing this because of a clear reason, my birthday not just because of going out. Tabby Cat
Drink don't drunk that's my main advice. Do the no meat no alcohol thing on Fridays and something else the rest of the week and supposedly Sundays a no not never fast day. The no meat no alcohol fast was prescribed by Saint Paul I think as the greatest fast and also in genisis Abel fasted off meat unsure they had alcohol back then. I used to do 40 day fasts no meat no alcohol except Friday I would have fish for dinner then I found out Sundays is a no fast day, but also i was absolutely on fire for the Lord back then, really know yourself and where your at and what you can or can't do, it's both self respect and communal respect but ultimately the final choice is between you and God, I'm not one to judge or condemn. Alleluia, Hallelujah, Amen. God iz Good.

benedictaaugustine
Getting drunk (diff than buzzed, I think it’s to the point of losing self control) is a sin no matter if you’re in Holy Week or not so I’d avoid that. Other than that, there’s no rules on having a party during holy week
