Nunsuch Posted February 24, 2022 Share Posted February 24, 2022 One of my friends posted this a little while ago: "Please hold the Benedictine Sisters at Immaculate Conception Abbey in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, the citizens of Zhytomyr and all of Ukraine in your prayers. The city of Zhytomyr was under attack by Russian missiles early this morning (February 24). Some sisters have transferred to Lviv. The rest are staying. Sister Leticia Posted February 25, 2022 Share Posted February 25, 2022 I've just heard that a community of Carmelite nuns are travelling to this monastery as it's too dangerous where they are - although the journey itself is fraught with danger.
