Is it selfish to ask prayer requests from many people?

My intentions are serious and needs prayers but at the same time there is nothing special those trails..(meaning there are many others in the world going through the same issues)

Not at all. To ask for prayer requests is a practice in vulnerability and humility and allows the community to participate in the suffering of the individual by practicing intercession. Also, by not asking for prayers because there are other people who may have it worse, that still doesn’t help those other people eh?  You could always add “I need prayers in xyz, and please pray for others who are affected by this too”
