Just one problem with exchanging gifts on Christmas Eve, in my case.
Me wife’s birthday is on Dec 24 too, so (all of he life) she feels a little shortchanged if her birthday and Christmas gifting is done on the same day.

Q1.Nativity scene much common than Christmas tree.

Q3. People don't have much wealth except for the middle class and above.. So people can't spend much money on gifts... Though in some parts of the country it is one of the shopping seasons

Q2.. Christmas star and decorations

Located in Kerala, India.

When my kids were little, we opened gifts Christmas morning.

But not until Mom got up…  So we could all be together to savor the moment.

Always went to midnight mass too!, when my kids were little.

Lady Grey, Hot

Growing up, starting on Christmas Eve or Little Christmas Eve, we would open just one gift every day until Epiphany (or until we ran out).

In Lithuania the Christmas Eve (Kūčios, December 24th) is even more celebrated than the Christmas itself

Feast of the Epiphany in some cultures is also known as “Little Christmas”.

Lithuanian Christmas trees are, invariably, spruces (even the local name is "Christmas spruce") but fake "trees" became popular since the 2000s.

Sgort on quantity, high on quality.  No reason to complain there.
