Matthew 10 42

They're overwhelming and push you to the brink of wanting to have nothing to do with religion at all. They have come out of the woodwork since Covid. Say a prayer they don't push people away from the the truth and love of Christ. Antivax and white supremacy is a toxic combination.

Several billion religious people out there...so there are always going to be a lot of people whose way of living their religion you don't like. No way round it.

What do you mean? Who is coming out of the woodwork? And why are you making a connection of anti-vax to white supremacy?

Bishop Strickland, Fr. Altman, and Catholics like yourself.

Thank you for putting me in such esteemed company, but I am not worthy of that. At any rate, I am not anti-vax, though I am against using the vaccine as a political weapon, and I am thoroughly vaccinated. The problem regarding the vaccination is that many of those who are pushing it are bad people who are not worthy of trust. But we need to look past that and judge the vaccine on its own merits.

I don't see how these people you are referring to are pushing anyone to the brink of anything. Unfortunately they are in the minority and just pushing back a little, as best they can.

I'm not seeing the connection to "white supremacy." Anti-vaxxers come in all shapes and sizes and colors.

Practicing Catholics do not embrace white supremacy just like practicing Catholics do not vote for abortion but vote against it. I would be interested in your definition of "white supremacy" and who that would apply to.

And no True Scotsman would put sugar on their porridge.

Obviously there are plenty of off the deep end "Catholics" that dabble in antisemitism (e.g. SSPX, or Catholic Counterpoint), but for simple white supremacy we don't have to look farther than, say Nick Fuentes or Brittany Pettibone.

I think most of the thought leaders in the white supremacist space were out as such prior to COVID.  But with COVID, we suddenly found out who was listening because their conspiracies of global cabals and mind control started coming out of more peoples mouths.  Likely because "I think COVID is some kind of plot" seems less racist to say out loud than "I don't like the idea of white people becoming a minority."

I said antivax and white supremacy. 2 separate issues but both embraced by the same type of Catholics.

I know some antivax Catholics. Good people who are not white supremacists and who wrongly oppose the vaccination but for understandable reasons. I don't know any Catholics who believe in "white supremacy." That's bs.

Hakutaku just gave you two names. I was familiar with Nick but not the lady. Nick has a large following and is in media with a big Catholic following. Timothy Gordon is popular among trads and has a large Catholic following. He is also in Catholic media. He said the murder of Ahmaud Arbery was vigilante justice. That protests for George Floyd weren't warranted and they should have been stopped by leathal force. I can keep dropping names. Jack Posobiec has over a million followers on Twitter and known ties to white supremacy. He frequently is promoted by Taylor Marshall who has a large Trad Catholic cult following.

None of that means "white supremacy." I watch Taylor Marshall's videos. They are very interesting. It's too far for me to go to the traditional Mass regularly, but I love it. Are you going to make some kind of connection with that to white supremacy as well? Please define "white supremacy."

See also Faith Goldy.

Why did Taylor appear on her channel, a trad catholic who worked with literal neo-nazi site the Daily Stormer?

Why does Taylor follow “I don’t view humanity as a single species” Molyneaux?

How about this? Instead of name dropping and accusing this person of liking that person, you provide some actual evidence. Provide a quote from a prominent Catholic that demonstrates he is a white supremacist.

Quote

We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children... I don't see that as controversial

--Faith Goldy, a trad-catholic that your man Taylor worked with.

In case you haven't heard the phrase: https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/14-words

I don't have a clue who "Faith Goldy" is. Not very "prominent" in my book. Also, you just say he said that but don't provide a link to that statement in context.
